Welcome to COCMHC
Objectives of the health center include:
The COCMHC, Yendi, is legally registered with the Registrar of Companies as a company limited by guarantee. It is also duly licensed by the Health Facility Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) and the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) of Ghana, among others.
The health center is one of the health facilities under the Church of Christ Mission Health Services (COCMHS) of Ghana. It is also a registered member of the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG).
From a humble beginning with eight (8) staff and no beds in 1996, the facility, as of December 31, 2024, has a total staff strength of about 110 and boasts a 42-bed capacity. Presently, the facility sits on 11.13 acres of land, and there are opportunities and plans to expand from a health center to a hospital.
